Slang and the British

Whew!

Sorry it's been so long since we updated this Web Log (sometimes reffered to as a blog by the hipster lingoist types). If you knew how swamped we were around here, you'd be... well... better informed. We can't even tell you what we're up to, because it's both secret, and boring.

So, to make it up to you, I offer you this tidbit. This is directed particularly at the hipster lingoist types
A new slang word has come to our attention, and we think it's terrific (groovy). It's british, so you know it has to be witty. Are you ready? Here it is: Pants. It means bad (not as in the slang 'bad' which means good, but as in 'bad', as in not good.). From now on whenever you don't like something, instead of saying, "I don't like that" or "That's no good" say "That's Pants"

For example:

"This computer is acting funky (funky). It's being totally pants."

or

"Your haircut is pants"

and even

Those pants are pants!

Crazy huh? I guess that last one could get a bit confusing (bewazanglified). So, do with that what you will. It's 11:00 in the PM (night) and its been a very pantsy day, and I'm going home to sleep. I think I need a new mattress though, my current one is totally pants. (not good)

If anyone else has some good unusual slang, british or otherwise (often called non-british) we here would love to hear about it. Thank you, and good night.
